Engineering and Management - Major in Logistics and Mobility
Logistics and Mobility Offers Opportunities
The industrial engineering program combines technical and scientific engineering with economics. Students are interested in both technology and its management and usually aim for a management position after graduation.Ingenieur:innen finden Lösungen für komplexe technische Herausforderungen. Often it is not enough to find innovative technical and organizational solutions. Rather, it is also always necessary to design the implementation process economically in the corporate context. Ethical aspects of value creation processes must not be neglected either. However, engineers and economists do not always speak the same language. This is where industrial engineers come into play. Thanks to their interdisciplinary studies in natural sciences, technology and economics, they have a command of the technical vocabulary of all participants and create the link between economic, technical, social and scientific thinking. Industrial engineers are therefore generalists who use their broad specialist knowledge to ensure effective cooperation and communication between different disciplines and are able to make their own management decisions.
